Updated my vote. At 18:00 it became available in Sweden (Hallon/3).

Update went well, the phone started a bit slower than usual, but after some time it became normal.
Issue that persists after software update: 5g and NFC get enabled after updating. Not major as I remember to turn them of after an update.

Thanks to the team for keeping the cadence in updating and fixing issues.

Nice! Just out of curiosity, what kind of camera improvements were introduced?

After update, I do not have any mobile (2G-3G-4G-5G) connexion working. I’m from France, and my operator is Bouygues Télécom.
I restarted my phone 4-5 times, and removed my SIM card and put it back also.

@julien_94 Check your APN settings. I had an issue in older software that made one sim to not connect because of that:

Not available in Germany yet (Telekom Prepaid, not Congstar).

Update went well on a Fairphone with Vodafone Spain SIM. However I would love if mobile network related settings like VoWifi, roaming etc would just be kept instead of having to be set up like you’ve never used the phone before every single time.

All in all it seems yet a little smoother though so happy about that.

You are right. Also for the FP6 my version was also definitly 4.2.13 before this update to FP6.QREL.15.162.0. Some problems with the app after replacing motherboard with new IMEI. Activation date und battery manufactory date is now “unknown”.

Indeed I don’t know if it is anything I need to enable or is it an under the hood fix. Like if I set 90 Hz will sometimes go down and before was locked at that rate?
It’s unclear, but phone is still smooth when unlocking with AoD off, so not sure.
Battery life seems a bit better, not sure If related to this either.

Probably the MyFairphone App that is delivered with the system. Doesn’t mean it can’t update via Play Store

Where can I find this feature?
I updated without any problems two days ago, but the refresh rate list only shows fixed values (60/90/120Hz).

In the developer settings you can enable the active refresh rate on the display. I don’t know if it was disabled, but adaptive refresh rate means it goes to the maximum refresh rate when have active animations in the screen. But when you don’t, such as reading text, it will automatically throttle down. This is done to save power.

Update works well. No issue so far. Thank you FP team for a clean update

The only items I see in the developer options regarding refresh rate are “Show refresh rate” and “Force peak refresh rate” (my phone is in Italian, so the fields may be slightly different).
Should there be any other options?

I see that the refresh rate remains at the set value (60-90-120Hz) even with static screens, without throttle down to lower values (some phones with always-on display go to 1Hz to reduce AOD consumption).

That should be the one.

That’s strange. I don’t see that. But I’m also using the beta release, so we’re not on the same software level.
