Software Update: FP6.QREL.15.162.0.20251121 šŸ“²

As others already said, random settings are changed. For me, it was data roaming that got deactivated for no reason.

Apart from that, update seems fine

now it is: :slight_smile:

@Kalibri as we shared in a previous release notes post here, we are aiming to provide this as quickly as possible once the roll out starts, but it’s not always possible to be published at the same time

Seems to have fixed my WiFi issues :ok_hand:t3:
(I posed in the WiFi issue thread earlier, I’m now coming up to 23 hours of uptime, and WiFi is still working well)

Since the update using fingerprint sensor to unlock the phone often does not work. I have to click the on/off button to turn the screen off and on again, then it always works.

I have set my phone to not unlock when the screen is off. Until the update it worked perfectly.

Seems like I spoke too soon :sob:

Somewhere between 30 and 38 hours it gave up WiFi again. Sorry for false hope.

Nothing for me now. I wait.I hope to get it soon!

The update went fine. Thanks for your effort! I’ve noticed two major things, one good and one bad:

  • the good: the double tap to wake up the screen is more responsive;
  • the bad: the adaptive refresh rate is ok except for the app drawer: if the maximum refresh rate is set to 90 Hz, scrolling the app list is not smooth most of the time, it’s mostly ā€œsluggishā€ and thus a bit disturbing. If you set the refresh rate at 120 Hz this is not happening;

Does anyone have the same problem?

Same for me, wifi breaks after some time and only a reboot ā€œfixesā€ it. Also roaming deactivates from time to time but I can’t reproduce or otherwise indicate why and when.

Hi
I first I thought the update did fix the camera problem, but yesterday I realised it only fixed it for the front camera. When I zoom in and out with the back camera, on snapchat or instagram, it freezes regularly after a certain zoom level…

I’ve actually been having this exact issue since before the update (you can get the sensor to work by either turning the screen off and on, or by swiping up as if to enter the code). I also have that same setting turned on. So I’m not sure if the update has triggered the issue for you, but it definitely didn’t fix it.

I had it set at 90hz and scrolling the app list is super smooth, but I’m not using quicksrep, I’m using Microsoft launcher instead, so it could be a bug from that side.

@Ignacio Does it behave smoothly even right after a reboot? Because I’m noticing that after a reboot, it takes something like a full day to stop being sluggish (not only quickstep launcher, also scrolling horizontally between apps in the ā€œapps overviewā€) and to start being smooth as before the update.

I just rebooted my phone to see (I don’t reboot often) and it works perfectly fine. A bit of lag while reloading the app list, after that smooth as usual, even swiping back to apps that where open before reboot and I did not open after.

Glad that it works as expected for you.

I don’t know why mine has this issue.

As of now the update is still not available via T-Mobile. This is a Vdfn level fsck-up. Might have to change the carrier…

My phone is still rebooting every time I go fly and put it on airplane mode. When I land, and turn off airplane mode, once it gets a signal, that’s when it reboots to ā€œload configuration".

I have not tried driving through multiple times zones to see if it happens on the ground as well.

I think I found a work-around if u can call it that.

Put phone on airplane mode, turn off Location Accuracy. Once landed, turn off airplane mode, wait for cell signals, then open Google Map to find your location (so that the clock would update time zone), then turn on Location Accuracy. At least it won’t reboot to ā€œload configurationā€ā€¦..

Always nothing for me: Is there a problem?
