It would be nice if Fairphone could look into the issue Meaghan mentioned about the wallet shortcut appearing on the lock screen when it shouldn’t. It would also be nice to be able to add a camera shortcut,

With this update it will be possible to add at the bottom left and right quick access icons to e.g. camera, flashlight…on the lockscreen.

Did not work for me. Just got
“Bei der Vorbereitung auf den Neustart ist ein Fehler aufgetreten. Versuche es später noch einmal.”
engl. “An error occurred while preparing to restart. Please try again later.”

After switching to developer mode (5 times clicking on build version), change to “automatic updates after reboot”, it worked fine and the update was done after a restart.

Just FYI in case someone has the same problem.

I had the same problem. I tried after a while and it didn’t work. Again waiting a while and then it went through. So without going to developer’s mode.

I’ve had the same Problem after i had to Fastboot to the latest Factory Build…
My solution was to put Auto. Updates to Off, try it again and then to On and the Restart did work.

one week passed, And I am still facing the update error…any more ideas? Official support is still not reply.

Did you enable automatic updates in developer settings?

Turn it off, run the search again and then back on.
Worked for me on the patches… Not on the Android 13 → 14 Upgrade.

Since installing the update, I’m having difficulties clicking in the bottom right to switch between apps. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Did you reboot to see if its just a glitch that fixes itself?
