Separate app sound

When I am cooking, I put on some music on my Bluetooth radio as background noise. When looking up a recipe there is a big chance my browser will play some stupid instruction video and take over my radio.

I’ve read somewhere that Android is able to tell “only stream Spotify to radio and keep other apps on phone”. It is normally found in the sound settings but I can’t find it anywhere.

Is this something the Fair phone OS supports or does anyone have any experience with this?

I don’t know if this solves your problem sufficiently but you can change the playback-device in the quick-settings.

Temporary, as soon as you watch anything on Firefox or Chrome they take over the radio.

You might remove app permission for music and sound for your browser. But I’m not sure if this setting is available in FPOS (in /e/OS it is) and, sure, it means you can never play music/sounds with your browser (until you reset the permission).
