Hello. I unfortunately broke the screen on my Fairphone 4 despite using a case and screen protector. What are your recommendations for replacing it cheaply?
I’m currently looking at secondhand websites.
I also found this site Fairphone 4 - Écran LCD + Écran tactile TFT | FixShop which offers a generic screen for half price.

I cannot judge if that offer is good or not, but as you have not started the repair yet, it is a good opportunity to point to this (Step 6) in time:
It does not seem to happen often, but from time to time the connection between display and motherboard can irreparably wear out if you fail to click the plug properly into place (see Broken screen BTB connector ), that’s why I’m posting the iFixit link above.

From my experience the delivery of spare parts from Fairphone ist fast. The replacement of the display is possible if you follow the instructions of tutorial. Imho this should be the cheapest way.
