Screen issues on Fairphone 4

Hi, I have had this issue with my four years old Fairphone 4 since a few days ago, do not know if this can be related to the latest system update or maybe the screen is done:

  • Black vertical bars at the left of the screen
  • vertical multicolor bars all over the screen from time to time
  • screen freezes for a minute
  • ghost touches.

I just tried dettaching the screen but did not see anything wrong (I’m no hardware expert though).

I too have a 4 year old FP4 that I recently updated to 15.19.1 with no issues, so I’d be looking for another change event, such as trauma to the phone.

Have you tried the Here’s how you can repair your Fairphone device yourself. ?
