There is a (unfortunately outdated) forum wiki page for rooting standard FP2: ✏ Rooting FPOS (with GMS) with Superuser (wiki needs updating). Still could try it out and update the page to become up to date. Beware: Rooting is at you own risk. Please make a backup before.
