unfortunately, the power button of my FP1 is about to break. Sometimes it works, but most of the time, it does not respond. Opening the phone and cleaning and realigning the button cap did not help, and I don’t have any soldering experience, so I cannot change the switch.
Now I read that it should be possible to change the key mapping so that I can wake or unlock my phone by pressing for example a volume key (‘How To Remap The Android Power Button Elsewhere’). This involves changing a .kl file in /system/usr/keylayout/. On my phone there are eight files that contain a mapping for the volume buttons. Can you help me identify the one that needs to be changed?
