Since the update to Android 16, I receive my emails with a huge delay, and I also cannot send emails. What could be causing that?
Which app are you using for mail?
Does clearing the cache of the apmakes any difference?
this could be part of the problem, so see if it works when using mobile data. Else more details would be great.

We don’t know how to clear the cache.

Els uses mobile data (wifi out) and she could sent an e-mail!

To get the Internet connection working for a while, turn on Airplane mode and then turn off again, this has helped a number of users.
To clear the cache go to
Settings > Apps > All apps > [the app whose cache you want to clear] > Storage and cache
