"Quickstep keeps stopping" as soon as I press the multitasking button

Hello community,

my Fairphone 3 keeps doing weird things. I can’t access the task manager via the square button any more. The first time nothing happens, the second time a window saying “Quickstep keeps stopping” appears. I tried a different launcher, same issue. Deleting cache and app data did not help, neither did multiple restart attempts nor updating to the latest OS version.

Does somebody have any idea how I can fix this? Thank you very much!

Thank you for your reply. For some reason, not using the phone overnight without restarting fixed it.
