Quickstep is chewing through my battery on my new FP5

What do you mean by “Quickstep is still used for Recent apps switching”? I did not quite understand that.

This is provided by Quickstep independently if you use 3rd launcher, so if you “violently” delete Quickstep, then Recent Apps sure stop working

I use Nova Launcher on FP5 from start (492 days and not having problem except this one which can be fixed disabling DesktopMode
