For a few days, I would like to install Linux in my phone. It’s a hell !
Postmarket is fully installed, but it’s impossible to make eSim work.
I have read a lot of discuss from a few forums and I have found the @lucaweiss’s eSim Manager.
It would be perfectly if it worked.
Is there a solution to be worked this ?

I wanted to try Ubuntu Touch on my Fairphone but it freezes after installation.
I feel like the “system update installation” doesn’t work to the end and after the boot is blocked.
I installed beforehand FPOS stock in AOSP 15 because I saw that it had to be done first but it doesn’t work.
I read a lot of discussions on the other forums but I can’t find any solution.
Someone can help me please ?

So what did you do? Is it Postmarket or Ubuntu Touch?
Never tried eSim, but is around a year since I daily drive pmOS/Phosh/edge/FP5. Recently travel across Nordic countries + Germany + Poland + Estonia. Mobile data worked everywhere automatically.
I have physical sim card Elisa/Finland.
I would like something to work.
But at the moment no system to work for me.
If you can give some details why it’s not working, I can try and help. It’s working on my device and I’ve heard from several other people as well that it’s working as expected.
You also haven’t mentioned which Fairphone device you have?
I have a Fairphone 4 with AOSP15.
I installed eSim Manager with “apk add lpa-gtk”. I have my sim in application but the phone block to the QMI protocol 3 error.
I tryed to fix this with modemmanger and qrtr commands but no solution works.
