Phone calls are not displayed when my screen is inactive

Since last update (april 24) my screen stayed locked when I receive a phone call.
Now i have to unlock the screen before I can see who is calling me / before I can answer.
Most of the time I am too late to answer.
Are there other userd with this issue and/or whom can I resolve it?

But you didn’t do any “tweaks” to your system like e.g. ,disabling Google apps, did you?

The problem is caused by the standard-phone-app.
I’ve installed another app (phone + contacts and calls), now everything is normal.

Could be a notification settings problem (Settings > Apps & notifications > See all > Phone > Notifications). There’s a couple of cases mentioned here on the forum where the settings meant the controls wouldn’t show up on an incoming call.

So, to possibly help others: did changing some notification setting solve the problem?

I have set ‘Settings > Apps & notifications > See all > Phone > Notifications > incoming calls > behavior" on "make noise and show on display’.
