Hi. I bought an original cable to connect my FP4 to a 3.5mm jack port. It does not work. Checked internet and al kinds of settings. No clue.
An old jack-jack cable and an adapter to usb-c works instantly. Perfect music. Volume variation.
Do I miss something?
I guess that applies to your use case as well. This USB-c to jack cable cant work this way it does not include any DAC and is meant to work the other way around on the XL Buds
I want to put the usb-c in the FP4. Play Spotify and connect the jack to my car. ( No bluetooth).
Do i get it right that the FP cable I bought only works the other way around. So jack plug in a music device and the usb-c into a speaker. I wasn’t aware of that
From at looking at the box it is a bit difficult to make a 100% sure statement. But I would agree with @yvmuell here that this looks very much like a cable meant for the other way round: jack to usb-c. This cable could definitely get a more clear description.
I would say the description of the cable is quite good, its marketed as jack cable for the xl buds to be used with devices having a headphone jack.
So @Hans69 its not meant for your use case. You need an adapter or cable with DAC
