Double tapping the status bar or lock screen not working?

Oh right I didn’t try the status bar. Yes that works. Thanks for the hint. 
When AOD is turned on, DT2W works until the display goes into standby 
DT2W did work for me with the first LineageOS 22 but broke again with the first update 
The bug report was closed btw. due to the update to LOS22
Currently DT2W and DT2S are working again under LOS22 on FP5. However, DT2W is not a double tap but 2 taps with [maybe] 1 second between them.
