Notification Modes on Fairphone

Hello all,

I am trying to set up Android’s notification modes according to this Google Android Help guide:

On my Fairphone 5 running Android 14 I do not find the mentioned “Modes” entry in the system settings. Google claims on their help pages this might be due to phone manufacturer restrictions.

Has anyone encountered the same issue and found a solution to set up custom notification modes on the Fairphone?

“Do not disturb mode” can be found in Settings > Sounds & Vibration in most Android-variations I used. I never saw more modes than that, I would guess it might not exist in FairphoneOS as well (I don’t use it, so I don’t know for sure).

Bedtime can be found under digital wellbeing but I was not able to find driving. Generally the settings seem to be different at FPOS.
