After last update, my FP5 stopped to detect the SIM card (i have an open support ticket on that matter), but then i thinked: it’s a good occasion to try eSIM.
I have the eSIM, but then my Network & internet settings looks like this:
When going to the reset Option in: settings → system → options for resets, it possible to reset. the mobile network settings or eSim separate. this my help a bit in reducing time to set everything back.
Be aware to do a backup first even for the separate reset options.
if not those resets don’t work you need to do the full Factory reset.
Nothing i could do, and i tried a lot. I had to sent it for a technical diagnosis, it was the top motherboard that was replaced, very quickly actually.
A top unit problem, as suggested at some point be the support team, would only disable the physical sim and not the eSim (actually, a rewritable sim soldered on the top motherboard).
