No option to install eSIM

Hi,

After last update, my FP5 stopped to detect the SIM card (i have an open support ticket on that matter), but then i thinked: it’s a good occasion to try eSIM.

I have the eSIM, but then my Network & internet settings looks like this:

And both SIM status (that you are supposed to use to get the EID) are greyed and irresponsive.

So to me it looks like the phone lost it’s capacity to access the SIM card reader, both external and internal. Has anyone any idea of what i can try ?

Sorry to hear you had problem with your sim after a update,

And I’m wondering why you question wasn’t answered.

expecting and hoping you will have already solved the issue long time ago.

i’m curious wat was the working solution.

last option is doing a Factory reset.

When going to the reset Option in: settings → system → options for resets, it possible to reset. the mobile network settings or eSim separate. this my help a bit in reducing time to set everything back.

Be aware to do a backup first even for the separate reset options.

if not those resets don’t work you need to do the full Factory reset.
