No connections anymore: no wifi, no mobiledata

Okay, nevermind. DoT is DNS over TLS, a means of encrypting DNS queries from your device to a DNS host.

Is the cellular part/the 3g/4g transceiver a module? The wifi is really tiny but according to ifixit it’s in fact a module. It looks like they are soldered to the motherboard.

He still can make calls. To me this seems like a software/firmware issue… maybe an app.

I’ll be doing a factory reset tonight, I guess… Thanks for all your good ideas and suggestions, though: between childcare and work@home I have been kinda slow to respond here and there.

If this does not work, I’ll see if the module is fixed as it should…

Update: I did a factory reset last night, and everything works like expected. I still have no clue whatsoever what had happened, and now we probably won’t find out, but I need a working phone so I went for the nuke option.
