Ì have to activate bleutooth-tethering each and ervery time I activate bleutooth. Is that how it should be? Why?
Do i understand that you find it inconvenient to switch on Bluetooth tethering each time you wanna use it, Wondering of this is normal?
yes for what i know that a standard Android behavior, not something from Fairphone.
you can use wifi tethering if you want to leave it on all the time.
or setup a shortcut in the top menu.
i hope this helps you out.
Thank you T4om. Okay, this is standard Android behavior. I’ll make a shortcut, I need it every time I swith bluetooth on to connect to the GPS-system in my car.
So you turn off BT? Then I’m not suprised BT Tethering is switched off with disabling BT and I doubt there is a solution however maybe you just want to search the internet
can you share type and brand of the GPS systeem you using?
maybe someone has a different and hopefully better solution for you setup!?
i remember i was fighting already some time ago with the old TomTom for my mother connecting it to the phone (a Motorola) to get traffic information, i was really wondering why tomtom stopt using the internal sim card.
it was way to complicated for her to connect it each time, so was looking for a way to do it automatic.
i dit use wifi that dit work after a lot of attempt’s.
the Bluetooth never worked that way.
