NFC is always set active after restart

Hi,

On my FP6 I usually have NFC switched off, I turn it on only when needed.

But I noticed that NFC always is set active after a restart.

Does this happen on other FP6 (with current Android firmware), too?

I doubt it is supposed to be like that. (And if it is supposed to be so, then please make it changeable. To me this feels similar like as if USB settings were set to FileTransfer by default after any restart)

But I cannot find any other settings involving NFC.

How can I trace back what’s causing NFC to be switched on after restart?

Is there a way to force always being asked whenever an app wants to activate NFC?

Or even better: is there a way to not allow any app to toggle NFC? That would be perfect. I don’t want any automatic toggling of NFC at all. (Except maybe if an app/widget wants to switch OFF NFC automatically a certain time after activation. To me it would be a nice feature to have NFC switched on temporarily only, e.g. for 5 Minutes, then automatic deactivation)

(phone is rooted, btw)

Update:

solved so far.

after posting I continued researching the issue.

It turned out that Google Wallet seemed to cause this.

In the NFC settings menu there is a sub menu for contactless payments, which is greyed out when NFC is disabled. Enabling NFC makes this setting available.

There, Google Wallet was set as default app for contactless payments. I set it to “none”.

After next reboot NFC stayed deactivated, as supposed to be so.
