Network provider often times on top left, despite the setting being deactivated

Hey there,

I deactivated that my provider should be visible at the top left. Since the upgrade to Android 15 this setting seem not to work anymore that well. Often times (especially after my mobile was locked and I unlock it) the provider is shown again.

It gets hidden, after I open the drawer and close it again. It’s still quite annoying since it’s a rather long provider name.

Is this a known bug, or where could I report it?

Also: is there maybe a workaround to hide it with a rooted device? E.g. I was able to hide certain stuff like “5G” or my battery symbol from the status bar with e.g. settings put secure icon_blacklist "...". Maybe there is a similar option for just the provider?
