I already reinstalled, cleared cache, etc.
DRM Info shows L1 support.
Am I the only one with this on FP6? It was fixed on the FP5 with a software update. Maybe this issue needs fixing again on FP6?

Can anybody from the community confirm this behavior?
Whilst you wait for a Fairphone 6 owner to comment, maybe it’s worth reaching out to Netflix too?
If understood DRM info from app is indicating L1 but you only get L3.
From the link:
Thanks @yvmuell to confirming this. @my_fairphone it would be good if maybe someone from fairphone could look into this. Maybe the “issue from FP5” was reintroduced in FP6?
I already raised a support ticked via the FP App, but only got a default response with the hint to to the “generic app is not working” page…
I also raised a ticket at Netflix (no response yet), but as they write in their howtos, one should reach out to the manufactor if the current situation (App shows L3 but L1 should be possible) exits.
In the current state, the evidences so far point to a regression from FP5 to FP6 that only fairphone can fix.
you have to report to support the forum is no channel to report issues to Fairphone. Support is slow and this is a low priority issue, so you need a bit patience to get a response
I reported it as well and assume it will be fixed in a future a update as for the FP5
I trust the image is from your FP6 which is showing L3 support not L1 in Netflix app?
“DRM Info shows L1 support.” That is what was put in the original post so a bit confusing as I thought not showing HD but showing L1.
Out of curiousity since Widevine is used by other DRM apps e.g. Prime, Paramount etc. Has this also been noticed in other apps?
I suspect it’s possible Netflix has additional checks that are not passing? This is why I think it’s best to raise with both which has now been done by @nalla.
Agree unfortunately Fairphone support seems to be stretched and reply time is slow.
Yes - as you said, e.g. Disney+ and Prime Video works in “HD” without issues.
Yes it is.
The App DRM Info shows L1 which is what the FP6 should have in general
I believe this is the DRM Info app you refer to:
