Netflix doesn't work on calyxos on Fairphone 5

Hey, for some unknown reason the Netflix app doesn’t work on the phairphone 5 with Calyxos. I get an error 15001 (-93). I contacted Calyxos and Netflix support and they both told me it’s a hardware problem. So I’d like to know if this problem will ever be fixed or if Netflix will never work on my phairphone.

Hardware in which regard exactly? And you would have to ask Fairphone for getting an answer about a fix.

I do not know, they didn’t tell me, they just said it was a hardware problem and there was nothing they could do. I was wondering if anyone had ever had this problem, or knew how to solve it but if it’s a more complex problem, I can always contact Fairphone support to ask them if they have a solution.

The thing is Netflix App is working fine on FPOS so if it is indeed a hardware problem, it is your phone specific. Plus if you ask FP support for help, they will switch it to FP OS anyway.

It might be helpful to get someone with Calyxos to check their Netflix App.

Yes, but I’ve already asked and they have the same problem as me. We’ll have to see if it works on the basic version of Android on FP5.

So its rather software, because as said, is working fine with FPOS.
