Can enybody please help? I do have version 3.12 of the MPE clinet, but I cannot connect by WiFi with Fairphone 5.
I cannot connect my Fairphone 5 with MyPhoneExplorer by WiFi anymore. Any help?

Thanks for offering Help! I installed one my newly bought Fairphone 5 Android 14 and the MPE Version 3.12. On my PC also the newest Version of MPE. I click On the PC On new User and scan the QR with my Fairphone. After a few Seconds of trying the PC says I cannot connect to 192.etc… With my Blackberry and Android before I did not have that problem.
So it never worked with your FP5 so far? ‘192.etc…’ is the actual IP address of your Fairphone in your WiFi network? The MyPhoneExplorer app is running on your FP5 and you gave it all necessary permissions?

Correct, it never worked since I bought i tone week ago. I THINK that 192……111 is the IP address but how can I find out?

You can check the IP address oy your Fairphone in the settings of the WiFi connection.
What about the other questions?

Ok, it is indeed the correct IP address. So still I cannot connect my Fairphone by WiFi with MyPhoneExplorer.

Only repeating, what you wrote already, doesn’t help in any way .

Sorry, I think now I understand (I am not an IT professional): a) It worked with my Fairphone 5 before I installed Android 14. b) Yes, 192… IS the actual IP address of my Fairphone in my WiFi network. c) Yes, the app is running and I gave it all necessary permissions.

Warten wir mal, ob da etwas bei herauskommt, Ich selber habe kein Fairphone 5 und kann es daher nicht testen.

Hast du die Betaversion des MPE Client schon installiert? Ist auf der HP von MPE zum abholen.
Warum sollte ich? Die reguläre 3.12 funktioniert doch einwandfrei.
Das war für den TO gedacht, mit A14 verweigert der Client die Verbindung, bis zur Veröffentlichung der gepatchten Version die Beta verwenden.
