Microphone not working during call while using speaker option

Hi all,

I recently acquired my Fairphone 4. During calls I can switch to speaker mode. In this mode my microphone is not working. In non-speaker mode (normal call mode I guess), the microphone works just fine.

Anyone else experiencing this issue? Any solutions?

Hi and welcome to the forum.

There are three mics. When in speaker mode it uses one specifically, ensure you are not covering it.

Specifically half way along the left side of the phone.

Most probably I was covering this microphone with my hand. I made a test call to check, and the mic works just fine. Thanks for the quick answers both you and amoun.
