Hello, I’m user of a Fairphone gen. 6 e/os
I face issue taking video, especially selfie video of myself speaking. The result of the video gives a very low sound output, barely earable.
Is this problem bas been identified, and will it be fixed, maybe in a next update ? THX
In the camera app, go to settings, video settings, audio source.
There you pick another source and test it.
I have it for now on ‘standard audio source’.
It was supposed to be adressed in the upcoming update. I am waiting for that.

Hi, could you tell me where to find this option. In camera app under settings, video, I find only option Video-HDR and Microphone which is only a toggle Button.
I have the issue that sound gets worse when its getting louder. I.e. on concerts

There seems to have been a drastic improvement with recent updates. Not too long ago the video recording sound was borderline unusable for me, but just now I discovered it has become quite clear and stable in comparison.
This video is all recorded with my FP6, though the sound is FP6 only in the outtakes at the end. Merry Christmas dear Fairphoners!
