Lineage Recovery FP4

Hi all,

I´m using FP4 with IodéOS.
Since the last beta-update i´m not able to start into system.
I flashed Lineage Recovery th downgrade to IodeOS 5.4 again, but recovery says:

Current SPL: 2024-09-05 Target SPL 2024-08-05
Denying OTA because it´s SPL downgrade

What do i need to do? I think I need an older recovery, am i right?
Does anybody know, where i can get an older Lineage recovery to try?

Better ask in the beta Iode Matrix Channel. There is an issue with this latest beta on the FP4.

Downgrading means you cant lock the bootloader as it would brick the phone. This has normally nothing to do with the recovery.

So did you try to adb sideload?

Is your bootloader locked?

Edit: there is also a topic in the Iode forum with a solution it seems, so is it what you tried? and did you see there is fixed 5.5 version available?

I know this channel and that there is an issue.
I tried adb sideload with different IodeOS-Versions with both slots ( a and b). Also the solution shown in Iode forum.

Not able to sideload via windows PC or sd-card.

bootloader unlocked.

and did you also see and try also the fixed 5.5 version? I would really advise to head over to the Iode Forum, as the developer is commenting there and providing help

However as your bootloader is unlocked did you change slot as it was a solution as well?

yes to both.
and i´m also active in iode forum. untill now no solution for me… :man_shrugging:

I tried the way described above:
adb Sideload wasn´t possible.
So i flashed LineageOS recovery to downgrade to IodeOS 4.5: not working.

Tried to sideload iode-5.5-20240913-FP4-ota.zip (still LineageOS recovery):

ERROR: recovery: failed to verify whole-file signature

I didn’t find a download for it.
