Feel free to start a new topic for the following; I could not find a good place to post it.
However, recently it started not to install updates, they get downloaded but would not be verified which means not installed since Dec 2025 (see screenshot).
I hoped the next update would repair it, but now it is the third update which failed (see screenshot). I am getting ready to install the OS (same one, I like it) again from scratch by back-up on an internal SD-card, including the Seedvault files.
Does somebody else have the same problem? Or knows a solution without installing the OS from scratch?

In December, the project was informed about a security issue. Among other things, they reacted by changing the signing keys for their releases, which leads to the issue youâve described.
Long story short: You wonât have to start from scratch, installing an update from recovery should do the trick.

Thank you so much @struppi, I just installed the update and my Fairphone 3 is fine. Subsequently Aurora Store found some updates for several of my apps, so my phone is as good as new! I hope to keep this FP3 for much longer thanks to the developpers of Lineage_MicroG OS and the help in the forum
