Is it safe to delete the old Downloads app?

Hey,
Just noticed that there are two Downloads apps in the latest FairPhone update: The old one don’t seem to work anymore.
Is it safe to delete it? Thanks :slight_smile:

Hmm… I don’t seem to have two download apps in FP2 GMS 18.09.2. How did you get your latest Fairphone update, which version is it, and in which way “it does not seem to work any more”?

Well, I used Fairphone Updater app to get Open 18.10.0.
Using the app manager JINA, I saw that the Downloads app didn’t work anymore and that a new one was here besides the first one. The first one was com.android.provoders.downloads.ui, the new one is com.android.documentsui. Don’t know what happened, but the new Downloads app works as expexted. I just wanted to know if it was safe to get rid of the old one, which is still considered as a system app.
