I can't call anybody or get called; maybe because of VoLTE?

Mein FP5 funktioniert mit spusu tadellos, während am gleichen Ort das FP4 meines Sohnes seit der 3G-Abschaltung nicht mehr telefonieren will.

Still doesn’t work for my son’s FP4.
Are you sure that VoLTE is working now on your FP4?

Ich antworte jetzt einmal auf deutsch.

Klappt alles seit letzter Woche wieder wie gewohnt reibungslos.
Falls es voLTE als Symbol gibt, dann ohne voLTE, jedoch scheint alles dann über 5G zu rennen.

Ich bin auch nur ein Laie und kann es technisch nicht erklären. Ich war immer der Annahme FP ist mit dem Update etwas passiert. Wurde hier jedoch versucht zu erklären, dass dem nicht so ist oder nicht ausschließlich.

Meine Überprüfung mit anderen Telefonen hat leider dann - zum Glück für FP - ergeben, dass der Fehler eher bei Spusu ist, denn weder ein FP3, Vivo V21 gingen. Nur ein Samsung A(irgendwas) ging und da war auch voLTE als Symbol zu sehen; zumindest nach meiner Interpretation.

Has anyone tried a full factory reset of their FP4 , with or without success regarding this issue?

Had the same issue.
In Germany with WeTell.
Support was great.
They heard about it before. Mainly but not only on Fairphones.
Using the Sim in another device and than back into the FP with a reboot did help.
At the same time WeTell reacht out to Vodafone and requestet a reboot of my connection/access.

After that I haf no problems anymore.

Hi, I have edpnet as a provider in Belgium and everything worked fine till recently. I can also not perform any calls anymore, also not getting called. But I can still use data. After rebooting the phone I can call or be called for a minute or so, but afterwards nothing anymore. I’ve spend hours and hours to find a solution (change APN settings and all possible settings like 2G/3G or this 4G calling, reboot, reset connection settings, safe modus etcetera), I’ve tried all forums, but no luck so far. My phone is crucial for my job, so if someone has the answer :pensive:

How old is your SIM?

The SIM is fine, 2 years old, did put it in another phone and everything worked well…

I am also in Austria, with a FP4 and Spusu, and i can NOT confirm that it now works again - i am still having all the same issues.
Not being able to make phone calls (or receive them), with a phone. It’s like a car that can’t drive anymore, wtf.

Set your SIM to use 4G/3G/2G.
Try it with 4G Calling on and try with it off.
Try it with Wi-Fi Calling on and try with it off.
Is the Wi-Fi working good?
Perhaps you can make a screenshot of the icons in the right-hand upper corner of the screen.

Did all that. Sometimes a call comes through, but almost always it turns to voicemail immediately and I can only call myself immediately after reboot. I tried safe mode, no change. Useless this phone, I wonder if this happened since last update…

Italy, Fastweb here.
Yesterday I’ve experienced the same problem: suddenly I receive calls no more (but SMS works). Tried to change: from 4G to 5G, then again 4G (which I prefer because of less battery drain) and this solved my problem.
