Hello,
the update to Fairphone Open 22.02.0-rel.=0 went perfectly smoothly, but I miss since then the app with which I played mp3 for example.

  • Will the music player app be included again in the next update?
  • Which (plain) music player app is recommended (for local mp3).

das Update auf Fairphone Open 22.02.0-rel.=0 verlief vollkommen problemlos, aber ich vermisse seither die App mit der ich z.B. mp3 abgespielt habe.

  • Wird die Musik-Player-App im nächsten Update wieder enthalten sein?
  • Welche (schlichte) Musik-Player-App ist (für lokale mp3) empfehlenswert.

The Music app was dropped with this upgrade, see the release notes for Fairphone Open here:

Going by what is written there, I think Fairphone will not include a music app in the future.

For really huge music collections (mine is like 200 GB), I recommend VLC. For much smaller music libraries, other apps are probably more convenient.
