I just root my FP2 with the new LineageOS 17.1 and it’s working very fine. Just go through all the steps written @: https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/FP2 And if you are not aware of google and like some of the apps you can ad: https://wiki.lineageos.org/gapps.html
