How can I hide the digits I type when entering my pincode on my Fairphone 3+. The solution for the FP2, see
does not appear to work. I cannot find Settings > Security > option “make passwords visible”.

Android 10 - You will find it at Settings > data protection > “make passwords visible” (on/off)
