Update: older ones. CalyxOS doesn´t provide updates since summer because of restructuring

My microphone doesn´t work correctly. People sometimes can´t here me while calling.
There is a connection of at least 50% while calling.
I can hear people all the time I think. But I am not sure.
I don´t know if the problem is new or already there since I have the phone.
→ I can´t do the “service test” for audio. The device doesn´t react to the figures I have to dial. Maybe because it´s not stock android but calyxOS and needs other “codes”?
Yes, You can do the test only with Fairphone os. The test can help you to know if it is a problem with the material or software. Fairephone os use the two microphones, and Calyx only one ( I talk about fairphone 4, i don’t know for the others). Have you test with headphones?
Ok there is 3 microphones. I meant, if it’s a material’s problem, perhaps it’s possible work with fairphone os. My bottom microphone is dead. And with calyx no one heard me when i called someone, and with stock os it’s working because it use multiple microphone. Not with Calyx, and I had to use the headphones with it.
I didn´t test with Headphone until today. In that case I have to order some with the correct connection or I need the adapter…. and headphones with microphone. I don´t knwo if I have some.
Can it be a problem with the microphone if it happens only from time to time?
I would have to make sure it isn´t the Mainboard as well in that case I think.
The mics are on the core module. So in case its really a hardware failure only FP could fix this and you would have to move back to FPOS to exclude the OS is somehow interfering. Are you sure you dont cover any mics when its happening? Any chance of dirt in the mic holes? Does it happen with normal calls, and/or on loudspeaker. What about voice messages, WA Calls etc?
