Bonjour Ă  toutes et tous,

J’ai récemment fait tomber mon Fairphone dans l’eau, il n’y est resté que 5 secondes… J’ai immédiatement enlevé la batterie et démonté intégralement le téléphone. J’ai tout séché au seiche cheveux. J’ai vérifié tous les éléments tout fonctionne sauf le bouton on/off qui fait contact en permanence. Du coup le téléphone démarre en boucle. Malheureusement cette pièce n’est pas disponible sur le site fairphone, ce que je trouve dommage que nous n’ayons pas la possibilité de tout commander. Savez vous où je pourrais l’acheter ?

I recently dropped my Fairphone in water, and it only stayed there for 5 seconds… I immediately removed the battery and disassembled the whole phone. I dried everything with a hair dryer. I checked all the components, and everything worked except for the on/off button, which made contact all the time. As a result, the phone starts in a loop. Unfortunately this part is not available on the fairphone website, which I think is a pity that we don’t have the possibility to order everything. Do you know where I could buy it?

I think only Fairphone’s repair contractor Cordon in France could make a proper diagnosis (if it is really only the power button). As you are writing, the phone starts in a loop, so it is somewhat questionable to say that “everything worked except for the on/off button” when you cannot really properly run the phone to check its functions.
