How stable and moddable is fairphone4?

Before buy a 0,5 k€ phone I wish to know only 4 foundamental things:

1- how is configured the hardware\firmare relative to flashing (can I always restore stock rom with a dedicated windows\linux\osx flasher and\or key combo or I need to unlock bootloader from a system menu? … In other words: is it brickable?)

2- is ita compatible with TWRP or other recovery able to do a full system backup\restore?

3- can I decrypt phone without losing data after the encryption?

4- how is rooting procedure? apatch or magisk? is it easy and stable ?

Otherway round would have been easier In the future you’ll only have to follow the OTA instructions. If there’s a Magisk version update don’t forget to restore the image beforehand as well (don’t install to the other slot in that case). Otherwise you should be fine, I’ve been running CalyxOS like that since it got released for the FP4, never had any issues
