Help repairing my FP5 after it was damaged in toilet…

I dropped my phone in the toilet some weeks ago. I took it apart to dry it but did not have the correct alcohol to clean it.
Since then it mostly works apart from:
SIM connection: I have changed to an e-SIM which works
Microphone: when the phone rings I hear it, but can’t hear / speak unless I put it on Speaker
Volume control: the up/ down buttons no longer work. I have to go to settings to adjust the volume

I wonder if there is anything I can do to repair these issues? Can I replace part of the phone affected? How can I find out if other parts are affected?

I have messaged Fairphone about it but have had no reply, yet.

I live in the UK but soon visiting France.

Any advice welcome.

Thanks.
Muriel

You can access a wide range of hardware tests by dialling * # * # 2 8 8 6 # * # *

You can replace the card slots (SIM card slot and SD card slot) and the earspeaker, too. See the Top Unit and Earpiece here:

The three microphones and the volume buttons are connected with the Mainboard which cannot be directly bought and replaced by the user, only through a Support job (the Service Center is in France):

Hello
You could also check water wiki :pencil2: How to handle water damage on advice how to clean and check your phone.

It has been prepared by many users but I believe recently updated thanks to @urs_lesse and @yvmuell so now you can try to identify water indicators.
