Some time ago the gmail app on my FP5 stopped displaying new/unread messages in bold, as opposed to normal type for read messages. At the time I looked a bit around for what could be causing the issue and found out that the solution would be to set the Android font as the default system font… Since the font cannot be changed on the Fairphone I was stuck.
Then, a few weeks later it magically resolved itself and new messages started showing again in bold… :-/ Unfortunately, over last weekend, the problem came back and I am posting here in the hope that someone knows how to solve this issue.
PS. I have not contacted FP support yet.
