Getting cut off on calls + callers suddenly can't hear me

Hi,

I’m having trouble with my FP4. During phone calls my conversation partners often suddenly can’t hear me. Usually, after waiting for 10 seconds or so it starts working again. Also, lately calls just get cut off completely. I feel like both problems are happening increasingly often, like in a typical call people can’t hear me + the call drops every 20-30 minutes or so. Other than that, the connection seems fine and also the microphone works without issues. The system is up to date, the sim is working, I’ve tried using a headphone and to turn off Wifi calling, but this didn’t make a difference.

Any ideas?

Can you confirm that this happens with and without Wi-Fi Calling? With 4G or VOLTE if available?

I don’t remember seeing similar problems recently.

Have you noticed whether this happens at particular locations or times or with particular callers?

You might want to keep a record of

  • time
  • your location
  • number
  • incoming or outgoing call
  • technology used (Vo Wi-Fi, 4G etc.)

Much of this info is stored in your call log. If any pattern appears, that would help if you need to contact FP Support or your carrier.

Thanks for reaching out. And big apologies!! Actually WiFi calling was turned on. Now that I turned it off the problems disappeared..

Hopefully this is helpful for anybody experiencing the same issues as me.
