My wife’s fairphone 3, running /e/os 3.5 (Android v 13) has stopped syncing with fruux. She was using the fruux app, which is no longer supported on her platform and had stopped working. I removed it and installed DAVx and got it to sync, but that stopped working very quickly afterwards, in January.
I’ve tried re-setting it up using that app and the OS’s DAVx support and neither are syncing at all.
It’s not being blocked by Advanced Privacy. I’ don’t know what to try next. Any help or troubleshooting advice would be appreciated.
You might want to add your Android version (13, 14 or 15). Check Settings > About phone > /e/ OS version – this should include either a T (= 13) or a U (= 14) or A15 for your Android version. If you are still on A13, this might start to create compatibility issues now.
If you can still hold out a little longer, you might want to wait until there is clarity about whether Android 15 is the end of the road for /e/OS on the FP3 or if there is a nice surprise coming soon, see
