Ola todos,I’m getting back to installing a free version of Android AOSP on a PF4 running Android 15. This time I’ve chosen the /e/ distro; I’ll see if I lock the bootloader afterwards.
I’m going to follow this installation guide:
Install /e/OS on a Fairphone FP4 - “FP4”
The first hurdle was activating OEM unlocking via this web page: Unlock your device bootloader. You need the code, but you also need an internet connection.
It’s not easy to check that “VoLTE/VoWiFi be utilized once on stock to provision IMS.”
I checked that the /e/ security patch is indeed more recent than Google’s Android security patch by looking under: Settings » About Phone » Android Version » Android Security update. And on the web page for the available release notes.
