Title, basically - seemingly at random, my 2tb micro SD card will just disappear. Sometimes a reboot fixes it, sometimes not.
I’m wondering if maybe the updated SIM/SD card slot design in the FP6 might be a factor. Anyone else having an issue?
While it might also be a phone issue, my first instinct is to take a closer look at the microSD card. What sort of make and model is that? Have you tested if it’s error-free and has the indicated capacity? Did it work flawlessly in another device before/now?

It’s a SanDisk, and yes, it had been working with no problems in my FP5 since January. It wasn’t until I upgraded to the 6 that I started having trouble.
Interesting. In that case I cannot contribute more than my personal experience with my FP4 and a 64GB card that started showing the same problems after some time of use. It still works fine in other devices - just not in my FP4 any more. I replaced it by the same model and that works fine now. So it might still be the card in a weird way.
Replacing a 2TB card just on that suspicion is expensive, though.

I would probably clean the contacts of the cards?

Initially the user there thought the cause was an empty SIM slot (denying the SD slot on the opposite side of the drawer the necessary pressure to secure contact), but recently he seems to gravitate towards assuming a software problem. Still, not necessarily the same issue as here.

Hey there. I have the same problem. After purchasing FP6, with e/OS, no sd card was visible. After update to 3.4 the card became visible, but only for a few days. Today, out of a sudden the card disappeared again. I made a ticket at gitlab (i hope in the correct way) and hope to get an answer from them. I hope the next update will fix it.
