In my previous post I lost my SIM card access, which I fixed with getting an eSim. Now I cannot access my SD card. It does not show in files, tried to clear cache in external storage, restart. Taking it out and back in. Still no luck. Any idea what to try?

Is your SDcard formatted as external storage and as such can you check it on other device?
Put the SD card into my old FP3. Worked. So it is definitely a software problem.
You wrote first to have no access to sim card, now to SD card.
Could there be a problem with hardware, SIM/SD compart, tray connector?
It’s hard to narrow something like that down.
Ask support. I’m afraid you’ll have to send the device for repair.
Personally I’ve had no problems after the update but I do use ES file explorer, not whatever is preinstalled.
Maybe another file explorer could be a solution?
Tried fossify file manager. Does not read anything either. Maybe I should try insert some thin paper to increase the contact for the SD card?
