I had that exact thing happend to my FP6, too. I suggest you have a quick look at this thread.
With the fix supposedly being the exchange of the motherboard, I ended up being quite glad that I did not even try to do anything further than checking for debris or similar in the charging port. I would have ended wasting my time anyway. Will be getting it back after a bit more than 3 weeks of shipping and repair duration during christmas time.
