FP6 fingerprint issue

I got my FP6 a couple of months back with Android due to time limitation for migration to /E/OS, everything worked perfect, then I got some time, and migrated to /E/OS and it also worked perfect for more than a month and half with no issues, then while I was using maps “built in app” one day, the phone crashed and restarted and then a message showed up that was like " you can’t use finger 2 to unlock anymore " I had 3 fingerprints enrolled and yes, I can only see finger 1 and finger 3 and they work fine.

So I did some digging and started re-rolling the 2nd finger again “or any other finger”, and it fails near the end "I looked up here and someone had the same issue but on Android 16 and when they reverted back to E/OS it was fine ", anyway, although the enrolling failed at the end, the finger actually can unlock the phone as long as it doesn’t get restarted! I didn’t enable debugging yet or went deeper into the issue, but it seems to me with this crash, the secure storage “TPM / TPM like” or wherever the fingerprints are stored got maybe corrupted and my guess is a factory reset " which I can’t do right now " would fix the issue. any thoughts?

P.S , I am on latest official E/OS 4.2 and boot-loader is locked back before enrolling the fingers
