For several weeks, my phone has been restarting unexpectedly several times a day—even during calls—for no apparent reason.
It also frequently freezes and requires a manual restart.
It often fails to detect Wi-Fi networks; a restart fixes the issue, but only until the problem recurs.
The latest versions of /e/OS (currently 4.0-a15) seem unstable.
Are you experiencing frequent restarts as well?
This raises the question of whether to permanently remove this operating system.
Hello and welcome to the community.
I would say the issue does not seem to be widespread so the most likely explanation would be the software issue or a combination of various factors.
Usually it is suggestsled to check also the murena/ eos forum.
Could you please let us know who is your network provider, where you are based, do you have one or two Sims (how old they are) and what are your network settings?
Provider: Orange (France)
Location: Paris
Single SIM card (5 years old)
I was already experiencing this issue for several weeks before the latest update.
The phone freezes (need a manual reboot) or restarts suddenly for no reason.
Hello
Thanks
Faiphone themselves suggests testing with SIM cards which are no older than two years. Would you consider swapping your card or testing with a different one?
Have you contacted Murena/Faiphone for support/troubleshooting?
