Just installed the recent update. Got WiFi but nothing else. System settings does not even show APN settings. If I click on network and Sims I get a Google set up your esim or transfer the SIM from a new device… Useless options and nothing else to select. Did the hardware test for SIM card it passed. Inserted SIM card, removed, insert. Airplane mode on &off several times, reboot… None works. Any ideas?

could you please tell us your provider? perhaps there’s an issue with the specific network.
Could you possibly check with other SIMcard? How old is yours?
Telekom- Germany. The SIM Card is like 3 years old or something. am already trying to root that out by applying for a esim.
I like the idea of a physical sim (I can shuffle eSIMs when I travel while keeping my number always active, in case of repair I can easily move it to a substitute phone, etc).
But FP themselves advise always testing on a SIMcard which is no older than 2 years.
So personally I would try switching to a new physical SIMcard.
