FP5 Where are PDF files downloaded from Brave browser stored

I’m using Brave browser. Downloaded PDFs aren’t in:

FP5 > Documents

FP5 > Download

FP5 > Android > data > com.brave.browser > files > Download

Additionally, more often than not, searching my files in Files app gives error “Can’t load content at the moment”.

File search works after restarting my phone multiple times or trying later. Definitely the most frustrating thing about my FP5 as usually I’m looking for PDF lists of what foods contain allergens, so when I need the file I need it.

Any fixes for file search or info on where to find files appreciated. Thanks :slight_smile:

Are you sure you downloaded the PDF files and didn’t just watch them?

I believe the files are downloaded as when search does work I can find them.

The default I think as it’s just called Files and it’s not possible to uninstall. I’m using Murena /e/ .

Ah… The system info is very important and I cant help as I dont use e/OS. Maybe try the fossify file manager if this works better

Copying the file path, apparently downloaded PDFs are in:

/storage/emulated/0/Download/

Files just watched are only downloaded temporarily and deleted right away, when you close the tab or app.
