Fp5 not charging correctly - possible faulty USB-C port

My fp5 is not charging properly.
I think there is a problem with the USB-C port because the charger cable will not sit easily in the port and keeps falling out. It also is charging very very slowly when I do get the cable seated just right. Has anyone seen this before?
I plan to replace the USB-C port component but before I spend the money I wanted to see if anyone has seen this issue before or anything similar?

You might want to clean your usb-port. For me that has always solved the issue of loose usbC cables (on any phone). Get a tiny thing (eg. a toothpick) and try to remove any dust deep in the connector. It can be really deep inside and kind of compressed. (But don’t apply brute force of course to not destroy the connector-plate inside).
