Hello,
as I read, for the FP5 the fingerprint sensor is identified as causing trouble at boot time after upgrading to Android 15. The FP4 over here behaves exactly the same: A new (quite ugly) Fairphone logo appears, and when it is reduced to just the capital “i”, the boot splash freezes and the screen gets dark. As described for the FP5, several reboots recover the system – but Android 14. The upgrade to 15 is marked as unsuccessful.
Is it possible, that this is also caused by a hardware issue of the fingerprint sensor? And is it possible that the provided patch for the FP5 works also for the FP4?
Thank you very much for your response.
